Jam: In a Nutshell

Literally
That should accurately set the tone for this blog.
In more detail:
I am a 30ish mother of 1 boy and 3 cats. I have a penchant for gum and I play video games. I work for XBOX (I know!) and live in a small “city” in the Dallas area.
Orginally from Pennsylvania, I joined the Air Force in 1995 and subsequently moved to Mississippi, Texas, Eastern Washington, Western Washington and ended up right back in Texas again.
I just purchased my first home, I have a very painful back and I love to cook.
I work hard for what I want and I’ve been fortunate to experience many different things in my 32 years. I’ve been a pet store manager, a firefighter, a medical asset manager, an office manager, a meteorologist, a tech support agent, a customer service manager and now I manage a team of people in a group that works to ensure that all support agents have solid, tested and proven policies and procedures to do their jobs.
I love to take pictures. I have 2 DSLR cameras, 1 normal point and shoot camera and of course, my cell phone has a camera. Most of the pictures in this “blog” are from my cell phone. It never leaves my side and I like to document my daily life.
I believe that this level of technology can be used to bridge the geographical distance between loved ones and friends. Highlights of big things throughout the year don’t do relationships justice. Relationships are built on the little things that you talk idly about over dinner. Taking random pictures with my cellphone allows me to share my daily life with those that are 1000’s of miles away.
